Estimates and models
Some pages show estimates, not reported facts. The liquidation heatmap, liquidation levels and max pain are modelled from open interest, prices and assumed leverage; they are not anyone's real orders or positions. How the heatmap is built, and how well it has matched real liquidations, is on its methodology page.
Coverage limits
Data comes from each exchange's public feeds, so it covers only the exchanges and markets we connect to, and only what each exchange publishes: some throttle or sample their liquidation feeds, and any feed can lag or drop out. Totals are a floor, not the whole market. What each exchange covers is on the coverage page.
