How often does Binance pay funding?

Binance settles most perps every 8 hours, and some every 4, 2 or 1 hours; the table shows each market's interval. The rates on this page are the 8-hour equivalent (rate × 8 ÷ interval) so they compare with other exchanges; the interval column gives the rate actually paid each settlement.

How are the 7-day and 30-day figures calculated?

The averages are the funding paid over the window divided by the hours covered, per 8 hours. Accumulated funding is the sum of every payment in the last 30 days, as a share of position size: what a long paid, or a short received, for holding the whole month. Markets with the exchange's settled history use those payments; the rest are estimated from the rate this site recorded every 5 minutes.
