Hyperliquid Liquidation Map & Heatmap

Where positions on Hyperliquid get liquidated, coin by coin, from the real positions of tracked wallets: Hyperliquid is on-chain, so liquidation prices are public. That makes these maps exact for the positions they cover, unlike the estimated liquidation heatmap, which models Binance, Bybit and other exchanges from open interest. Pick a coin for its map.

The tracked wallets hold 90.6% of Hyperliquid's perp open interest (73.4% checked in the last 15 minutes).

Position figures show for coins whose map was opened in the last 15 minutes (none yet); open a coin's map for its live chart, clusters and largest positions. A cluster is a price bin of the map's ±25% chart: its price, distance from the current price and the value that would be liquidated there.

Tier A is the 300 wallets with the largest positions; B the next ones; C everyone else. Hyperliquid's API rate limit decides how often the smaller tiers can be checked, so their actual cycle can be longer than the target. Coverage is tracked value ÷ (2 × Hyperliquid open interest); 73.4% was checked in the last 15 minutes. Wallets not checked for 48 hours are left out of this page.

How to read it. A coin's map shows, per price, the value of tracked positions that would be liquidated there: longs below the current price, shorts above it. Liquidations are forced market orders, so a big cluster close to the price can speed up a move once it is reached. Only tracked wallets are counted, so real totals are larger. Not financial advice.

Hyperliquid liquidation map FAQ

What is the Hyperliquid liquidation map?

A chart per coin of the prices where open positions on Hyperliquid get liquidated: long liquidations below the current price, short liquidations above it, as bars by price with running totals. It is built from the real positions of tracked wallets, so a tall bar is a real cluster of liquidation prices, not a guess.

How are the positions known?

Hyperliquid is an on-chain exchange, so every account's open positions and liquidation prices are public. This site tracks the wallets that trade there and reads their positions from Hyperliquid's public API. It does not see every wallet: the biggest positions are the best covered. Right now the tracked wallets hold 90.6% of all Hyperliquid perp open interest.

How often does it update?

The 300 wallets with the biggest positions are re-checked every minute and the others every few hours, as Hyperliquid's API rate limit allows. Each coin's map reloads its positions every minute. This page shows a coin's figures once its map has been opened in the last 15 minutes; open a map for its live numbers.

How is it different from the estimated liquidation heatmap?

Binance, Bybit and other centralised exchanges don't publish liquidation prices, so the liquidation heatmap estimates them from open interest changes and a leverage model, across all exchanges. On Hyperliquid the positions are visible, so this map shows where tracked positions will actually be liquidated, at the cost of covering only Hyperliquid and only the tracked part of it. Neither is financial advice.
