BTC and ETH derivatives matrix

Both rows read the same completed UTC hour (2026-10-16 10:00 UTC – 2026-10-16 11:00 UTC); changes compare it with the hour from 2026-10-16 09:00 UTC. The hour updates at least 10 minutes after it closes. Price and OI columns are changes from the previous hour; OI is the contract-equivalent change with the USD value change below it; funding is the quoted rate per 8 hours; basis is perp vs same-venue spot.

Price and open interest are hourly aggregates, not ticks at a shared instant: price is the last 1-minute close in each hour and open interest the last USD snapshot in each hour. Their changes compare those two hourly values. The contract-equivalent OI change removes the price move from the USD change, so a rise in OI value that only follows price reads as 0%.

Liquidations are flow, not a level: the sum of forced orders observed during the hour. Binance publishes at most one liquidation per symbol per second on its public stream, so these totals are a sampled lower bound, not the full amount.

Funding is the average rate quoted during the hour as an 8-hour equivalent. It is not a settled payment: Binance settles funding at its own schedule, and the paid rate can differ from the quotes seen in this hour.

Basis is the perp mark against the Binance spot price of the same pair, averaged over the hour. When no spot price was recorded at the same time it is unavailable rather than estimated.

A dash means unavailable. Each metric is kept or dropped on its own; an hour in which the engine was not recording blocks the changes that cross it. This page makes no long or short call and combines no metrics into a score.
