¹ Binance's public liquidation stream sends at most one liquidation per symbol per second, so any site using it (this one included) shows a sample of Binance liquidations. CoinGlass says the same about its Binance data.

² Alert channels as CoinGlass lists them; we have not checked which are free.

³ Available on the free tier, so also included with Prime; Prime mainly adds liquidation heatmap models and auto-refresh.

— means we have not verified it either way. Check coinglass.com for its current features.

What you get here, free

  • Live volume spikes with sound. The spike feed updates every few seconds and can beep or send a desktop notification when a spike matches your filters.
  • What happened next. Every spike shows the price move 5 minutes, 15 minutes and 1 hour later, with averages per side on the pump scanner pages.
  • Liquidation heatmaps. An estimated liquidation heatmap and map for the coins with the most open interest, over 12 hours to 30 days.
  • Hyperliquid whales. The whale tracker shows the largest open positions and whale moves from real on-chain positions.
  • Hyperliquid HIP-3 coverage. Stock, index and commodity perps with funding, open interest, OI-cap use and mark-vs-oracle basis.
  • Auto-refresh at no cost. The live pages (spike feed, liquidations, funding, open interest) update on their own; CoinGlass lists auto-refresh as a Prime feature.
  • Free API. The JSON endpoints behind these pages are public: no key, no signup.
  • No login. No account, no email. Filters and watchlists stay in your browser.
  • Independent. Not owned by an exchange. Some trade links are referral links, disclosed in the footer; we never sell placement in the data.

What CoinGlass has that we don't (yet)

  • One liquidation heatmap model, estimated from open interest changes; CoinGlass Prime offers several heatmap models.
  • No options data.
  • No ETF flows.
  • No alert delivery by Telegram, Discord or email yet: alerts are in-browser sounds and desktop notifications.
  • Shorter history for open interest, funding snapshots and liquidations: it starts when this site began recording them.

CoinGlass alternative FAQ

Is CoinGlass still free after the CoinMarketCap acquisition?

CoinGlass says its pricing and free tools are unchanged after the deal was announced on 25 September 2026. Its paid Prime plan costs $28 a month ($78 a quarter or $268 a year) and mainly adds liquidation heatmap models and auto-refresh; API plans are separate and start at $29 a month.

Who owns CoinGlass?

CoinMarketCap announced that it had acquired CoinGlass on 25 September 2026 (press release). Binance acquired CoinMarketCap in 2020 (background).

What is the best free CoinGlass alternative?

It depends on what you use CoinGlass for. For live volume spikes, funding rates, open interest, liquidations, liquidation heatmaps, Hyperliquid whales and HIP-3 markets across Binance, Bybit and Hyperliquid, this site is free with no login. Coinalyze offers free derivatives charts, and loris.tools focuses on funding arbitrage. This site has no options data or ETF flows; CoinGlass has both.

Does Volume Monitor have a liquidation heatmap?

Yes. The liquidation heatmap estimates where positions would be liquidated for the coins with the most futures open interest, over 12 hours to 30 days, with a liquidation map of the levels still open. It is a model built from the open interest changes this site records. For Hyperliquid, the Hyperliquid liquidation map uses real tracked positions instead. CoinGlass has a free liquidation map and more heatmap models in Prime.

Is the liquidation data complete?

Not for Binance, on any site that uses its public feed: Binance sends at most one liquidation per symbol per second, so busy moments are sampled. CoinGlass notes the same about its Binance data. Treat Binance liquidation totals as a lower bound.

Do I need an account?

No. Every page here is free and works without a login or sign-up. Sound alerts, desktop notifications, filters and your watchlist run in your browser.
