How are the daily movers calculated?
Each coin's price change compares the hourly close at 00:00 UTC with the close at 24:00 UTC on its most traded perpetual (at least $2.00M in 24h volume). Open interest changes compare the same two hours market by market, for markets with at least $1.00M of open interest at both ends of the day.
Which markets are left out?
HIP-3 (stock and other non-crypto) perps, markets with no stored price near either end of the day, and open interest that did not change all day, which usually means the exchange stopped updating it. MEXC open interest is left out as unreliable, as it is from every combined total (data accuracy).
How is this different from the live market movers page?
The live page covers the last 24 hours and changes every few seconds. Each daily page is fixed to one UTC day, so you can link to or cite what moved on a given date.
