Hourly resets at each UTC hour; four-hour resets at 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 20:00 UTC; daily resets at 00:00 UTC. Buckets include their start and exclude their end. The final block is ongoing until its next reset.

OI change = latest OI − starting OI. Percent change = change ÷ positive starting OI × 100; a zero start has no percent change. The anchor is the stored observation in the reset bucket, not an exact trade-time measurement. The chart plots bucket timestamps. A missing or invalid reset observation makes that block unavailable; we never substitute a later observation. Missing intermediate observations split lines, but later valid observations still compare with the original anchor.

USD OI can change with price alone. Coin units are a price-adjusted estimate: each observation’s USD OI is divided by its own positive mark price, falling back to its own positive price. Invalid prices make that coin observation unavailable. OI alone cannot identify long or short openings.
