Estimate: Support and resistance levels are references, not predictions. Woodie uses the current period's open, prefilled with the previous close.

The formula

H = high, L = low, C = close and D = H − L from the previous completed period. O = current period open, prefilled with the previous close for continuous crypto trading.

Classic: P = (H + L + C) / 3. R1 = 2P − L; S1 = 2P − H; R2/S2 = P ± D; R3 = H + 2(P − L); S3 = L − 2(H − P).

Fibonacci: P ± D × 0.382, 0.618 and 1. Woodie: P = (H + L + 2O) / 4, then Classic R/S formulas.

Camarilla: C ± 1.1D / 12, /6, /4 and /2 for R1–R4 and S1–S4. P is the Classic pivot for reference.

FAQ

How are pivot points calculated?

Classic P = (H + L + C) / 3; R1 = 2P − L, S1 = 2P − H; R2/S2 = P ± (H − L); R3 = H + 2(P − L), S3 = L − 2(H − P). Fibonacci uses P ± 0.382, 0.618 and 1 times the range. Woodie uses the current period's open (prefilled with the previous close for continuous crypto trading): P = (H + L + 2O) / 4, then Classic resistance and support formulas. Camarilla uses C ± 1.1(H − L) / 12, /6, /4 and /2, with the Classic P shown as reference.

Daily or weekly pivots?

Daily pivots use yesterday's UTC candle. Weekly pivots use the last complete Monday-to-Sunday UTC week, changing at Monday 00:00 UTC. The current incomplete candle is excluded. Binance spot USDT candles are cached for up to six hours and refreshed after the required period ends; if unavailable, enter prices manually. Levels are reference points, not predictions or trading advice.
