Changing coverage. Feeds began storing BTC on different dates, so earlier dates can include fewer feeds. A feed with no stored row on a date is unknown, not zero liquidations, and these are recorded completed dates, not proof that every feed was up all day.
Sampling. Binance, Bitget and Aster publish sampled liquidations, so their totals and the combined totals are lower bounds during cascades. Binance publishes only the latest liquidation per symbol per 1000 milliseconds, so its totals are a lower bound in busy moments. Sizes are quantity × fill price in US dollars.
How to read it. A long liquidation is a forced sell after the price fell; a short liquidation is a forced buy after it rose. These are the largest recorded BTC days on the feeds this site stores, not market-wide records. Not financial advice.

Do these rankings count every BTC liquidation?
No. They add up the liquidations this site has recorded from the exchanges' public feeds for BTC perpetual futures. Binance and other sampled feeds publish only part of a cascade, feeds were added at different times and a feed with no stored row on a date is unknown, not zero, so true market-wide totals can be larger.
Why does a date leave a feed out?
A feed's first observed BTC date may have started mid-day, so its row for that date is left out and the date ranks on the other feeds only. Today is left out until the UTC day is complete.
Is the daily recap filtered to this coin?
No. Each date links to the all-coin daily recap, which adds up every coin; the figures in these tables are BTC only.
