This ratio is computed as the Binance spot BCHUSDT daily close divided by the ETHUSDT close on the same UTC day; this site uses the USDT method for pairs outside its configured native cross-pair set. Records and the chart use those daily close ratios, not native intraday highs and lows. The chart samples every 6 days; CSV includes every day. The latest UTC candle is still forming. Not financial advice: past ratio performance predicts nothing.

BCH/ETH ratio FAQ

What does the BCH/ETH ratio mean?

It is the price of 1 BCH in ETH, computed as the Binance spot BCHUSDT daily close divided by the ETHUSDT close on the same UTC day; this site uses the USDT method for pairs outside its configured native cross-pair set. A rising ratio means BCH is outperforming ETH; it does not necessarily mean either coin rose in dollars.

How are changes and records calculated?

Today (UTC) compares the latest daily close with the previous UTC daily close. It is provisional because the current day's candle is still forming. Other changes compare the latest daily close with the close on the exact UTC date 7, 30, 90 or 365 days earlier. All-time highs and lows use daily close ratios since both coins traded on Binance, not native intraday highs and lows or the coins' full lifetime. Moving averages use 50 or 200 daily closes; missing history is shown as a dash.
