HTX settles most perps every 8 hours, and some every 4, 2 or 1 hours; the table shows each market's interval. The rates on this page are the 8-hour equivalent (rate × 8 ÷ interval) so they compare with other exchanges; the interval column gives the rate actually paid each settlement.
How are the 7-day and 30-day figures calculated?
Averages are net funding over covered hours, normalised per 8 hours. Accumulated funding is the 30-day net amount as a share of position size. Each figure labels its source: settled payments, an observed-rate estimate, or mixed settled payments plus an estimated observed tail. Estimates use stored hourly rates divided by 8; they are not confirmed payments. Positive means longs pay and shorts receive; negative means shorts pay and longs receive. Zero has no net payer.
