MEXC Liquidation Price Calculator
Work out where an isolated-margin MEXC perpetual is liquidated, for a long or a short, with MEXC's own maintenance margin tier for the coin and the position value you enter, not one default rate. The form starts with the live price of the coin you pick.
With BTC at a live price of $82,046.20, a $10,000.00 10x long on MEXC is liquidated near $73,923.63 (-9.90%), at MEXC's tier 1 maintenance margin rate of 0.10%.

Worked example
BTC long, the numbers above- You open a 10x long of 0.121883 BTC ($10,000.00) at $82,046.20. Your initial margin is $10,000.00 ÷ 10 = $1,000.00.
- MEXC puts a $10,000.00 position in risk tier 1: a maintenance margin rate of 0.10%, and at most 500x leverage.
- MEXC values maintenance margin at entry: $10,000.00 × 0.10%.
- Liquidation price = entry × (1 − 1/leverage + MMR) ÷ (1 − fee) = $73,923.63.
How MEXC calculates liquidation
BTC_USDTMEXC values maintenance margin at the entry price: entry × quantity × MMR. For an isolated long the estimate is entry × (1 − 1/leverage + MMR); for a short it is entry × (1 + 1/leverage − MMR). An optional fee reserves the cost to close at liquidation: divide by (1 − fee) for longs or (1 + fee) for shorts. Contract-count risk limits are converted to USDT using the fetched fair price; these approximate bands refresh every six hours. MEXC margin formula.

| 3 | $2.547M – $3.944M | 100x | 0.5% | – |

The formula
Long: Liquidation = Entry × (1 − 1/Leverage + MMR) ÷ (1 − fee)
Short: Liquidation = Entry × (1 + 1/Leverage − MMR) ÷ (1 + fee)
MEXC values maintenance margin at the entry price: position value × MMR. Initial margin = position value ÷ leverage. The optional fee reserves closing costs at liquidation; leave it at 0 for MEXC's published formula.

MEXC Liquidation Price Calculator FAQ
Does MEXC allow 500x leverage?
Some contracts, including BTC, publish up to 500x in their first band. Larger positions have their own risk limits; always check the current exchange position screen.
How is the MEXC liquidation price calculated?
Maintenance margin is quantity × entry × the tier's MMR. A long liquidates at entry − (initial margin − maintenance margin) ÷ quantity; a short adds the same. The optional fee is reserved at the liquidation price. This is isolated margin, with no cross-account balance.
Where can I see every tier?
The BTC max leverage page lists the full tier tables of Bybit, Bitget, Gate, Hyperliquid, KuCoin and MEXC side by side. For a calculator with your own maintenance margin rate, use the liquidation price calculator.
