Methodology and coverage
Each venue’s share is its eligible rolling 24h quote volume divided by the included volume for that coin and selected market. Spot and perpetual denominators never mix. Exact (venue, market kind, symbol) identities count once; distinct eligible contracts on the same exchange are combined. HHI = sum of squared venue shares, on a 0–1 scale: two equal venues give 0.5. Top-two share sums the two largest covered venues. Zero or missing denominators have no share or HHI.
Only native crypto markets quoted in USDT or USDC are included. Quote volume is approximated as USD at a 1:1 stablecoin/USD rate, without a live conversion or depeg adjustment. HIP-3, inverse and unsupported quote units (including USD-labelled contracts), stale volume, missing volume and negative or nonfinite values are excluded. Fresh zero volume remains eligible. Staleness uses the engine’s per-venue freshness limits for vol24h, independently of other fields.
The UTC timestamp above is the source snapshot observation time, not an individual contract’s volume timestamp. Exchange rolling 24h windows can differ slightly. Data comes from already-ingested public exchange feeds; this page makes no exchange requests.
Only this site’s covered volume is represented. Exclusions describe recorded contracts; an entirely missing venue cannot be inferred or filled with zero. An exchange may have both included and excluded contracts. One covered venue means limited coverage. These numbers make no claims about wash trading, global market share or solvency.
