How are the 7-day, 30-day, 90-day and 1-year returns calculated?
Each return is a coin's latest daily close on its Binance spot USDT market divided by its daily close exactly 7, 30, 90 or 365 calendar days earlier (UTC days), minus one. The latest candle is today's and still running, so every window is so far until 00:00 UTC. These are spot prices, not perpetual futures.
What does "vs BTC" show?
A coin's 30-day return minus Bitcoin's 30-day return between the same two daily closes, in percentage points (pp): +5 pp means the coin did five points better than Bitcoin. A coin beats Bitcoin when the gap is above zero; the CSV has the gap for every window.
Why do some coins show a dash?
A window needs a daily candle on its first and its last day. A coin listed on Binance spot more recently than the window has no return for it, and a day missing from Binance's data is never bridged with a neighbouring close. Dashed coins are left out of the ranks and of the counts above the table.
Which coins are included?
The same coins as the crypto returns table: the 40 with the most perpetual futures open interest that have a Binance spot USDT market. For the last 1, 4 or 24 hours of the futures market, see gainers and losers. Nothing here is financial advice.
